Submitting User Guides and Examples

Everyone is welcome to submit user guides and examples, by sending an email to friedata_kontakt@dmi.dk. DMI staff we will post it to this page, assuming it passes basic vetting. We look forward to hearing from you!

Install:

  • Python
  • Install python dependencies: pandas, matlibplot, seaborn

User creation: Follow the guides for User Creation & Access Management to:

  • Create a user
  • Get an API-key

The script includes:

  1. Downloading barometric pressure data from 29-30 November 2021, station 06184
  2. Resamples (downsamples) the 'present 10 min' data to hourly data (the latter offset by 25 minutes)
  3. Saves resulting data series to CSV-files
  4. Creates plot for visual inspection

This uses the deprecated metObs v1 API, which has been replaced by metObs v2
